https://twitter.com/TheJumpShop |  THE JUMP SHOPHere is my friend, Jorge, flying at Airkix. Jorge is 13 years old and he's autistic. He flies regularly at the Milton Keynes wind-tunnel, where enjoys the speed and sensation of bodyflying.
The Airkix tunnel crew are helping him to develop his motor skills and improve his hand/eye co-ordination. His previously aggresive behaviour in response to challenging situations has been improved by his sessions in the wind tunnel.
Andre, his father, says of his son's new found calm and improved self-esteem through tunnel flying, "I am completely blown away by Airkix, and I wish I'd taken Jorge years ago".
The Jump Shop provided Jorge and Andre with their Sky Systems 'Factory Diver' helmets. Jorge's particular sensitivity to the fast airflow was affecting his ability to concentrate on flying his body. Now using the full-face helmet that we supplied, Jorge can focus on getting the most out of his tunnel time.
